At this time of year (New Years) we often stop and reflect on the year behind us and lay out our hopes for the year ahead. We sit through TV shows that remind us of the political and Hollywood highlights of the year, and we all are surrounded by people making New Years Resolutions which will be broken by January 10th (…or maybe it’s you, I was being diplomatic.)
But what does this year ahead hold for you?
The Word of God tells us that “we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago”
God has plans for you to do good works this year; things that will help, things that will count, things that He planned for you from long ago. If you will seek God’s will for you this year, He will lead you to complete those good things he has planned.

For some it may mean helping strangers, opening your homes and opening your hearts. Whatever it is, and no matter what sort of year you had last year – we believe the Word of God when He says, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him”
in other words …
